Summer is here and it’s officially rooftop season in New York! I look forward to rooftop season every year. Being able to actually utilize all the amazing rooftops in NYC that you fantasize about using all year long. My girlfriends like to layout in Central Park or on a pier with grass, but I need to have shade too so I love to find the best rooftops with either a pool or an amazing view (or both!) Here are some of my favorite rooftops in NYC to enjoy in the summer!
These swimsuit pictures were taken here! How amazing is this view?! This is the most unobstructed view of the park I have ever seen! This rooftop gets the win for best view with a pool! It also has a higher rooftop deck perfect for lounging. I like going up there each season to see the change in colors in the park.
This is the most touristy one, but it has a wrap around deck around the entire building. So if you want 360 views of the city, this is it! Plus it’s a great place for snapping instagram photos.
SALON DE NING AT THE PENINSULA HOTEL
This rooftop has incredible views of Fifth Avenue and Central Park. The rooftop has two terraces with comfy outdoor furniture and amazing cocktails.
This rooftop might be my fave. It overlooks the Empire State Building and has lounge chairs next to the pool.
Le Bain is located on the top floor of the Standard Hotel. This is the perfect rooftop to spend a weekend afternoon in the city. It has a grass lawn area that has incredible views looking north of the city.
