Hey guys! I was in Portland, Oregon for about a week visiting family. I just love it there! We went to the Tigard/Bridgeport area, The Rose Garden, a couple wineries, NW 23rd Ave and all over the Pearl District. It’s such a beautiful place to visit over the summer when everyone is out and about. The people are so friendly and you can get a little of everything depending on your mood. I typically go there about twice a year so if you have any recommendations please leave them in the comments!

My photog and I took these pictures the other day in my favorite neighborhood to shoot in the city – The Flatiron District. I just think the charm of the architecture of this part of the city makes for such a beautiful backdrop! It’s that limestone and terra-cotta designed in the Beaux-Arts style that I find so attractive. And did you know, before the Empire State Building took over, it was the Flatiron that was most synonymous with NYC?

I was wearing this hot little red number that is one of my fave designers to shop. Every time I go on Revolve I type in “by the way.” Their designs are just so cute and come in a variety of styles. And the best part? It’s super affordable, especially for Revolve. Also, how cute is this blazer? I’m going to be wearing it well into winter. It’s perfect to style over an evening dress or to wear with dress pants or a pencil skirt to work.

Note to my favorite photog – Vic, help me tuck in my dress hanger straps! 🙂
