I picked up this dress when I was just in the market for some basics. But I love the simple check print design and you could literally wear it to so many occasions. And how adorbs is this bag? It looks just like the architectural bamboo designs by Cult Gaia, but at a fraction of the price.

Check print has long played a crucial role in my wardrobe, first through small touches in the form of shoes and bags, and later, in a bigger way through coats and dresses as well. Whether it serves as the perfect finishing touch to a classic outfit or makes a statement on its own, check print pieces have the uncanny ability to make any outfit feel put-together and intentional. Thanks to its pretty palette, it’s incredibly easy to wear on its own or pair with your favorite basics–it also complements any color, as well as many textures (I love it with denim, cashmere, lace, or leather, to name a few. Or like this bag).

I couldn’t resist the perfect pair of comfortable heels. And these ones are great because they have a thicker heel. I love the nude color as it goes with everything. I wear them year-round, but definitely gravitate toward them most during the spring/summer months.
